Jane Horrocks

Jane Horrocks earned critical acclaim early in her career, winning the Los Angeles Film Critics Association Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1991 and the National Society of Film Critics Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1992 for her role in Mike Leigh’s ‘Life Is Sweet’ (1990). Her professional career began with the esteemed Royal Shakespeare Company, building a foundation for her versatile performances, which also included a role in Nicolas Roeg’s ‘The Witches’ (1990).
