Breakout star Jarrod Neumann is shaking things up in the world of lacrosse. Most recognised for being part of the unstoppable Chaos LC, Neumann has had a meteoric career to date. A Northampton, Massachusetts native, Neumann earned his lacrosse stripes at the Northampton High School/Brighton Academy. From his debut on the pitch, it was clear that Neumann’s sporting prowess was going to raise the profile of his game.
While playing for the University of Providence, Neumann was named the 2017 Big East Defensive Player of the Year. Alongside this honour, Neumann was a 3x First Team All-Big East, a USILA Academic All-American and a USILA All-American. Unstoppable on the pitch, Neumann was recognised as the 2019 Dave Pietramala Defensive Player of the Year and was selected for the 2019 Premier Lacrosse League All-Star Game. Shooting a lacrosse ball over 115mph is a day in the life for Neumann.
Neumann is far from subtle on the field. Making a statement is what he does, and he does it well. From his distinct playing style to his custom hand-painted “Bomb Squad” gloves, Neumann is all about the defense. A testament to his performance on the field, is the lengths he is willing to go to bring Chaos to victory. Notably, while competing in the fastest shot competition he broke his fluorescent Epoch lacrosse stick. Safe to say, this athlete will be smashing records for years to come.
