Jarrod Neumann

Jarrod Neumann is a professional lacrosse defender known for his exceptional play in both collegiate and professional leagues. After being named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year in 2017, Jarrod Neumann capped a decorated collegiate career as a four-year starter in defense for Providence College. His senior year was particularly distinguished, starting all 17 games, recording 27 groundballs, and causing 18 turnovers. During this time, he earned USILA/Nike Division I All-America Second Team honors, Inside Lacrosse Media All-America Third Team recognition, and was selected for the All-BIG EAST First Team for the third consecutive year, in addition to being named to the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team and NEILA All-New England First Team.

Neumann’s academic achievements were also recognized with USILA/Nike Division I Scholar All-America honors and a degree in economics, alongside his participation in the USILA/Nike North-South Senior All-Star Game. Neumann’s collegiate success translated swiftly into professional opportunities in 2017, when he was selected 25th overall by the Florida Launch in Major League Lacrosse (MLL) and 38th overall by the Colorado Mammoth in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). He transitioned to become a prominent defender for the Carolina Chaos in the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL), where he quickly established himself as a dominant force. In 2019, Neumann was awarded the prestigious Dave Pietramala Defensive Player of the Year and earned 1st Team All-Pro honors, solidifying his reputation as an elite talent.

His journey from an acclaimed collegiate athlete to a multi-award-winning professional and league champion underscores his exceptional talent, leadership, and enduring impact in the sport of lacrosse.
