Jason McKie transitioned from a successful NFL fullback to a respected football coach and media analyst, applying his on-field experience to diverse roles. After a distinguished collegiate career as a two-time team captain at Temple University from 1998 to 2001, Jason McKie went on to establish a notable nine-year NFL career. During his four seasons at Temple, McKie started 26 games, accumulating 700 rushing yards and eight touchdowns on 169 carries, alongside 44 receptions for 460 yards and one touchdown. In 2002, he entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent, initially signing with the Philadelphia Eagles, before moving to the Dallas Cowboys in the same year.
Upon his retirement from playing, McKie seamlessly transitioned his expertise to the media landscape, serving as a radio sideline reporter for the Chicago Bears. He then moved into coaching, taking on an assistant coach role at Carmel High School in 2019. In December 2019, Jason McKie was named the permanent head coach at Carmel High School, where he continues to lead the football program.
