Javier Zanetti

After making an impactful debut for Banfield in Argentina’s First Division in September 1993, Javier Zanetti quickly garnered attention for his exceptional talent, leading to a pivotal move to Inter Milan in Italy in 1995. His professional career began earlier in 1993 with second-division team Talleres, where he played 33 matches and scored one goal before transferring to Banfield the same year. Zanetti made his First Division debut on September 12, 1993, scoring his first goal 17 days later and cementing his reputation.

He co-founded the Fundación PUPI, a non-profit organization committed to supporting underprivileged children in Argentina.
