Jay Ryan is an acclaimed actor known for his diverse roles across film and television, including lead characters in ‘Beauty & the Beast’ and ‘It Chapter Two’, alongside a robust career in theatre. After establishing a robust career in Australian and New Zealand television, Jay Ryan secured a guest role in Steven Spielberg’s US series ‘Terra Nova’ in 2011, quickly followed by his breakout performance as the male lead Vincent Keller opposite Kristin Kreuk in The CW series ‘Beauty and the Beast’ (20122016). Earlier in his career, Ryan gained recognition for his role as Jack Scully in Network Ten’s ‘Neighbours’ (20022005) and later as Seaman Billy ‘Spider’ Webb in the Nine Network’s ‘Sea Patrol’ (20072009). He further solidified his presence in the New Zealand series ‘Go Girls’ from 2009 to 2012.
