Jeff Teat

Jeff Teat is a Canadian lacrosse player recognized for his record-breaking performances and leadership in both collegiate and professional leagues. After setting a Junior A record with 145 regular season points in 2015 for the Brampton Excelsiors—a total unmatched in the league since 1994—Jeff Teat established himself as a generational talent. His highly anticipated collegiate career at Cornell University commenced in 2016, where he was immediately recognized as the number one recruit by Inside Lacrosse. Despite his senior season being curtailed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Teat achieved significant accolades, earning three USILA All-American selections, including First-Team honors in 2018 and Second-Team in 2019, and was a two-time Tewaaraton Award nominee in both 2018 and 2019.

In 2025, Jeff Teat played an instrumental role in leading the New York Atlas to their historic first-ever PLL Championship. He delivered a commanding six-point performance in the championship game, a pivotal contribution for which he was deservedly named the PLL Championship MVP, capping a truly remarkable and record-setting professional career trajectory.
