Jessica Parratto

Jessica Parratto was born on June 26, 1994, in Dover, New Hampshire. Her early life was immersed in competitive sports, with her mother, Amy Parratto, a five-time All-American diver at Wellesley College, serving as her coach until the age of 14. Her father, Mike Parratto, was a swim coach who notably coached Olympic gold medalist swimmer Jenny Thompson. Jessica began diving at age 5, and in 2009, she relocated to Indianapolis from New Hampshire due to limited training facilities in her hometown. She graduated from Indiana University with a degree in sports media, during which she balanced her academic pursuits with her rigorous diving career.

Parratto competed in her first world event at 17, the 2015 World Aquatics Championships. Her professional diving career includes notable achievements such as becoming an eight-time USA Diving National Champion in women’s platform and platform synchro. She was the NCAA champion in 10m diving in 2015. She is a three-time Olympian, having participated in the 2016, 2020, and 2024 Olympic Games. At the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics, she placed 10th in the individual 10m platform and 7th in the synchronized 10m platform with partner Amy Cozad. Her most significant Olympic achievement came at the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics, where she earned a silver medal in the Women’s Synchronized 10m Platform event with Delaney Schnell, marking the first Olympic medal for the United States in that event. She also secured a bronze medal at the 2023 World Aquatics Championships in the 10m synchro.

Throughout her career, Parratto has consistently achieved high rankings in major international competitions. She earned multiple All-America honors during her collegiate career at Indiana University, winning Big Ten Diver of the Championships and First-Team All-Big Ten accolades. In 2024, she competed at the Paris Olympics, placing 6th in the 10m Platform Synchro (Women). Her dedication and consistent performance have solidified her position as a prominent figure in American diving.
