Jessica Rothe

Jessica Rothe established herself as a versatile actress with her role as Alexis in Damien Chazelle’s Academy-Award winning musical film La La Land (2016). Prior to this, Rothe honed her craft, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts in 2009. Her early career included stage performances such as ‘The Cherry Orchard’ at the Huntington Theatre and ‘Kevin Moriatry’s Hair’ at the Hangar Theatre Company, followed by her debut stage performance in The Dream of the Burning Boy (2011). She began her screen career with minor roles in television shows including ‘America’s Most Wanted: America Fights Back’ (2010), ‘The Onion News Network’ (2011), ‘Gossip Girl’ (2012), and ‘Blue Bloods’ (2013).

Rothe further demonstrated her range in the romantic drama Forever My Girl (2018) and starred in the musical remake Valley Girl (2020). That same year, she took on a starring role in the critically acclaimed romantic drama All My Life (2020) and appeared in a recurring role in the Amazon Prime Video series Utopia (2020). Her continued dedication to diverse projects was evident with her role in the drama Body Brokers (2021). Most recently, Rothe was seen as Mina Van Der Koy / June 27 in the action-thriller Boy Kills World (2023).
