Johnny Galecki

Johnny Galecki, an acclaimed American actor, first gained significant professional recognition with a Joseph Jefferson Citation nomination for his role in ‘The Member of the Wedding.’ His onscreen acting career commenced with the CBS miniseries Murder Ordained in 1987, followed by a standout performance as Rusty Griswold in National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation in 1989. Galecki then secured a pivotal role as David Healy on the hit ABC sitcom Roseanne, initially joining as a recurring character in 1992 before becoming a main cast member until the show’s conclusion in 1997. Immediately following this, he appeared in films such as I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997) as Max Neurick and Suicide Kings (1997) as Ira. Galecki continued to diversify his roles, appearing in the feature film Vanilla Sky (2001) before making his distinguished return to the stage in 2006, playing Alex in Douglas Carter Beane’s play The Little Dog Laughed.

Beyond his acting roles, Galecki has cultivated a career as a producer, holding executive producer credits on television series including Living Biblically (2018) and SciJinks (2018), as well as the feature film The Cleanse (2016). He reprised his iconic role as David Healy in the Roseanne revival in 2018, continuing the character’s arc in the subsequent series The Conners, which premiered the same year. Further diversifying his portfolio, Galecki appeared as Gabriel in the 2017 film Rings. Galecki has also lent his voice to animated projects, as Henry in A Dog’s Journey (2019) and as Fee-Fo the Giant in The Cinnamon Bear: A Holiday Adventure (2021).

His producing efforts continued with an executive producer role for Catching Babies in 2022.
