Joseph Fauria

Joseph Fauria was born on January 16, 1990, in Northridge, California. He attended Crespi Carmelite High School in Encino, California, where he was recognized as a first-team all-state player by CalHiSports.com. Rivals.com ranked him as the 7th best tight end prospect nationally and the 24th prospect in California. He began his college football career at Notre Dame before transferring to UCLA, completing his collegiate play with a total of 88 receptions, 1,139 receiving yards, and 20 receiving touchdowns.

Fauria entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent, signing with the Detroit Lions on April 27, 2013. He made an immediate impact, scoring a touchdown in his first regular season game from Matthew Stafford. In a Week 6 matchup against the Cleveland Browns, he caught three touchdowns on three receptions for 34 yards, concluding his rookie season with seven touchdowns from 18 receptions. His 2014 season with the Lions was impacted by an ankle injury, limiting him to seven games, six receptions, 74 yards, and one touchdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Following his tenure with the Lions, Fauria had stints with the Arizona Cardinals in 2015, where he was signed to their practice squad, and the New England Patriots, also joining their practice squad in late 2015. He later attempted a comeback with the Arizona Hotshots of the Alliance of Football (AAF) in 2019, though he did not make the final roster. Currently, Joseph Fauria is recognized as a breathwork guide, having reportedly impacted over 15,000 lives through his practice.
