Josh Jobe

Josh Jobe was born on April 9, 1998, in Miami, Florida. He attended Christopher Columbus High School before transferring to Cheshire Academy in Connecticut for his senior year. A highly-rated recruit, Jobe initially committed to the University of Miami but later changed his commitment to the University of Alabama, where he played college football from 2018 to 2021. During his time at Alabama, he contributed to the Crimson Tide’s success, including a significant role in their CFP National Championship-winning campaign in 2020. He recorded 129 tackles, 19 passes defensed, and three interceptions over 51 career games at Alabama.

Following his college career, Jobe entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent, signing with the Philadelphia Eagles on May 6, 2022. He spent two seasons with the Eagles, participating in their Super Bowl LVII roster in 2022. In 2023, he played in 17 games with three starts, recording 22 tackles and four passes defensed, while also leading the team in special teams snaps and ranking second in special teams tackles. His strong special teams play and defensive development were notable during his tenure with the Eagles.

In 2024, Jobe joined the Seattle Seahawks, initially signing to their practice squad in August before being promoted to the active roster in November. He made a significant impact in his first season with the Seahawks, playing in 10 games and starting six. During this period, he recorded his first career interception off Josh Allen, which was notable as Allen’s first interception in 301 pass attempts. Jobe also achieved a career-high seven passes defensed and 37 combined tackles for the 2024 season, solidifying his role as a key defensive player. He re-signed with the Seahawks on March 6, 2025, continuing his professional career.
