Football cornerback Josh Norman has played in the NFL for over a decade. Drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the 2012 NFL Draft, he has also enjoyed stints with the Washington Redskins, San Francisco 49ers and Buffalo Bills. Norman has appeared in over 120 games during his ten-year NFL career, and is a one-time All-Pro who was named to the Pro Bowl in 2015. A flexible mover who makes many acrobatic plays on the ball, Norman swapped the football field for the dancer floor in 2018 when he competed in the celebrity dance competition TV show Dancing with the Stars, finishing as runner-up.
In 2016 he joined Fox as a TV commentator becoming a regular contributor for the channel’s NFL coverage.
Hailing from Greenwood, South Carolina, Norman’s talent began to shine through whilst he attended Greenwood High School, and he was named an All-State football player and was selected to take part in the North-South All-Star Game. Norman continued to impress during his college career at Coastal Carolina, where he made the College Sporting News’ “Fabulous Fifty” All-American team in his sophomore season. Following his college career, he was select in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers and began his decade-long NFL career.
Although often outspoken, Norman uses his platform for good and donated $100,000 to the recovery efforts following the devastation caused by Hurricane Maria. In 2020 he attended Byron Brown’s press conference announcing changes to the Buffalo Police Department along with New Orleans Saints linebacker Demario Davis during the George Floyd protests.
