The incredible athlete Kyle Sloter is a professional Football quarterback, who plays for the Minnesota Vikings in the NFL. He has also been a member of the Detroit Lions, the Las Vegas Raiders, the Arizona Cardinals, and the Chicago Bears.
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Sloter was prolific at Football throughout his High School years. He was a 2x first team All-State selection, 4x first team All-District, All-Area, All-Region and All-Metro honouree. He also played basketball, helping his team win two Regional Championships and advance to the Final Four. He earned All-State, All-Region, All-District and Team MVP honors. He received scholarship offers to play Football as a quarterback from Tulane and Southern Miss, opting to attended Southern Miss. He transferred to the University of Northern Colorado in his junior season.
After graduating, Sloter attended Northern Colorado’s pro day, and in May 2017 he was signed by the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent. In September he signed with the Minnesota Vikings’ practice squad and was promoted to the active roster a few weeks later. He was waived by the club at the end of August 2019, and then signed to the Arizona Cardinals practice squad. At the end of November he was signed by the Detroit Lions. He was released in March 2020. In August he had a try out with the Chicago Bears and later joined their practice squad. In January 2021 he signed a reserve/future contract with the Las Vegas Raiders, was released in April, but re-signed with their practice squad in September. He was released in October. At the end of December 2021 he rejoined the Minnesota Vikings.
