Hannah Pearl Davis, born on November 4, 1996, in Chicago, Illinois, was raised a Roman Catholic in Huntley, Illinois. She grew up in a large family with nine siblings, three of whom were adopted. Her parents are software entrepreneurs who founded Davisware, a business management software company. Her mother, Jennifer Davis, served on the US board of directors for UN Women and founded BExponential, a self-help organization for women. Davis pursued her education at Elmhurst University, where she studied economics and played volleyball for the Elmhurst Bluejays. After graduating, she initially worked selling copy machines, a role that was a precursor to her eventual career in social media.

Davis began creating social media content in 2020. She moved to London to pursue professional volleyball and simultaneously engaged with her teammates through interviews, gathering their perspectives on social issues. This period marked a significant expansion of her online presence, attracting over 900,000 followers on TikTok, notably through her popular ‘Breakup Quiz’ series. In this series, she analyzed participants’ past relationships. Her TikTok account was banned in 2022 due to what she stated were her critical positions against feminism. Following this, she transitioned to YouTube, where she established her primary platform, JustPearlyThings, focusing on cultural and political commentary.

On her YouTube channel, JustPearlyThings, Davis conducts street interviews and engages with prominent figures within the manosphere. She also hosts “The Pre-Game Show” podcast. Her content primarily addresses issues related to modern sexual relations between men and women, advocating for traditional courtship and marital dynamics. She criticizes contemporary dating trends and the perceived impact of feminism, proposing that women would achieve greater long-term happiness by embracing more conventional roles in relationships and marriage. Her views have positioned her as a notable figure in online discussions about gender roles and societal norms, influencing a substantial audience.
