By 2015, Harada transitioned into competitive climbing, making a significant impact in youth competitions, including the Youth A Bouldering Championships and the Junior Asian Championships, where he consistently showcased his talent.

In 2018, Harada achieved a remarkable milestone by winning the Bouldering World Championships in Innsbruck, Austria.
