Kapil Sharma has transitioned from a successful stand-up comedian to a prominent television host, actor, and producer, known for captivating audiences across India and globally. After winning the third season of the stand-up comedy reality show, ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ in 2007, Kapil Sharma rapidly transitioned from a celebrated stand-up comedian to a leading television host, actor, and producer, captivating audiences across India and globally. His early career included appearances on the Punjabi show Hasde Hasaande Ravo on MH One. Following his breakthrough victory, Sharma further honed his comedic prowess by winning six seasons of the competitive show ‘Comedy Circus’ between 2010 and 2013.

Beyond his television and film work, Sharma consistently performs live stand-up comedy for audiences domestically and internationally. In 2020, he launched the kids’ comedy show ‘The Honey Bunny Show With Kapil Sharma.’ Exploring new artistic avenues, he released his first musical single ‘Alone’ featuring Guru Randhawa in 2023. At the beginning of 2024, Sharma partnered with Netflix for ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show,’ which premiered globally. A prominent advocate, he has promoted animal rights through a PETA campaign and participated in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Mission), receiving an invitation to the Rashtrapati Bhavan by President Pranab Mukherjee in 2015.
