Kara Mupo

During her time at Northwestern, she also played a pivotal role in securing four consecutive Final Four appearances for the team. Serving as a team captain during her senior season, Mupo concluded her collegiate career with an impressive 186 points, comprising 136 goals and 50 assists. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in human development and psychological services from Northwestern in 2014, and a Master’s degree in sports administration in 2015. Following her collegiate tenure, Mupo transitioned to the professional arena.

As the offensive coordinator, Mupo’s strategic guidance led the Stony Brook offense to dominate national statistics, topping the country in points per game (29.28), scoring margin (+10.80), assists per game (11.23), and shot percentage (.547). Building on her track record of developing high-performing offenses, Mupo was appointed offensive coordinator for the Stanford women’s lacrosse program for the 2018-2019 season. In her inaugural year with Stanford (2019), the team’s offense flourished under her leadership, establishing itself as a leader within the Pac-12 conference. Stanford topped the Pac-12 in several critical offensive metrics, including shooting percentage (.431), total assists (125), goals per game (13.89), and points per game (20.47).
