Professional Canadian curler, Kelsey Rocque is known for her consecutive gold-medal-wins and as a world junior curling champion skip.
After competing in her first University Curling Championship during 2013 for the Alberta Pandas, Rocque went on to enjoy an active curling career throughout university, competing at the Alberta Junior Championships in both 2013 and 2014. Following an impressive win during 2014, Rocque and her team qualified to compete at the Canadian Junior Curling Championships later that year in Liverpool, at which their success continued and they ultimately took home the gold medal for Alberta. Returning to the Championships during 2015 in Corner Brook as the teams skip, Rocque went on to enjoy her second gold medal win. It was following her team’s excellent performances at the Canadian Junior Curling Championships that enabled them to represent Canada at the World Junior Curling Championships, during both 2014 in Flims and again during 2015 in Tallinn. Now a renowned and unstoppable curling team, Rocque skipped her team to gold medal success, making her a two-time junior world champion. As part of her junior curling career, Rocque also won gold, alongside her team at the 2017 Winter Universiade event in Almaty.
Continuing to play as skip throughout her senior career, Rocque has gone on to participate at prestigious events around the world, including the Cameron’s Brewing Oakville Fall Classic, the Players’ Championship and the Humpty’s Championships Cup.
