Kim Klacik established Potential Me in 2013, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering workforce development for underserved women in the Baltimore area. Her leadership focused on community engagement and empowering women transitioning into the workforce, drawing on her earlier studies in business at Bowie State University and hospitality administration and management at the College of Southern Maryland. Klacik’s direct involvement in politics commenced with her successful election to the Baltimore County Republican Central Committee in 2018. Klacik garnered national attention in July 2019 following an interview on Fox & Friends, where she candidly discussed conditions within Baltimore’s 7th Congressional District.
