Lakshya Sen

Lakshya Sen is a celebrated Indian badminton player, known for his impactful performances on both junior and senior international circuits. After winning the Swiss Junior International in 2014, Lakshya Sen quickly established himself as a formidable talent on the junior badminton circuit. Having honed his skills at the prestigious Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy, he went on to secure a bronze medal at the Junior Asian Championship in 2016, a year before achieving the coveted World Junior No. 1 ranking in February 2017.

In 2023, Sen clinched the Canada Open Super 500 title and added a silver medal at the Asian Games with the men’s team, following a bronze at the Asia Mixed Team Championships. In 2024, Sen represented India at the Paris Olympics, achieving a remarkable 4th place finish in Men’s Singles, marking the best-ever performance by an Indian male badminton player. He further underscored his prominence by winning the Syed Modi International Super 300 title and securing a bronze medal at the Kings Cup. Looking ahead to 2025, Sen is slated to compete for the Hong Kong Open Super 500 title, further solidifying his standing as a world-class competitor.
