Benyapa Aimsaard

Benyapa Aimsaard, born on August 29, 2002, in Thailand, began her international badminton career at a young age, entering the international circuit in 2015 when she was only 13. Her early talent was evident when she finished as a mixed doubles runner-up at the 2017 Lao International Series with her partner Setthanan Piyawatcharavijit. By 2018, Aimsaard had already secured two titles at the Asian U–17 Junior Championships in both girls’ singles and doubles.

Her career continued to progress with a series of significant victories and placements. In 2019, she claimed titles at the Mongolia Junior International in girls’ singles and the India Junior International in both singles and mixed doubles. That same year, she played a pivotal role in the Thai team winning their first-ever mixed team title at the Asian Junior Championships. She also earned bronze medals at the Asian Junior Championships in girls’ singles and the World Junior Championships in mixed doubles. A major turning point came in 2022 when she won her first BWF World Tour title at the India Open in women’s doubles, partnering with her sister Nuntakarn Aimsaard. This partnership would become a defining feature of her career.

Throughout her professional career, Benyapa Aimsaard has accumulated notable successes, particularly in women’s doubles alongside her sister Nuntakarn. They have secured multiple BWF World Tour titles, including the Vietnam Open in 2022, the Hylo Open in 2022, the Thailand Masters in 2023 and 2024, and the U.S. Open and Canada Open in 2025. Her career prize money totals over $180,145, reflecting her consistent performance and high-level competition engagements.
