Larry Fitzgerald

Larry Fitzgerald is a former NFL wide receiver, known for his distinguished 17-season career with the Arizona Cardinals, his philanthropic efforts, and his transition into a motivational speaker and business investor. After establishing himself as a dominant force in college football, Larry Fitzgerald earned unanimous All-American honors in 2003, along with the Walter Camp Award, the Biletnikoff Award as the nation’s outstanding receiver, and Big East Offensive Player of the Year. During his two collegiate seasons from 2002 to 2003, Fitzgerald recorded 161 receptions for 2,677 yards and set a new University of Pittsburgh record with 34 receiving touchdowns. His exceptional performance led to him being selected third overall in the 2004 NFL draft by the Arizona Cardinals, where he would go on to play a distinguished 17-season career, solidifying his legacy as one of the greatest wide receivers in NFL history.

Throughout his unparalleled NFL career, Fitzgerald earned an impressive eleven Pro Bowl selections, appearing in 2005, 2007-2013, and 2015-2017. He was named first-team All-Pro in 2008, the same year he led the NFL in receiving touchdowns. Fitzgerald also led the league in receptions in both 2005 and 2016, and again in receiving touchdowns in 2009. A Super Bowl XLIII appearance in 2009 was followed by being named MVP of the Pro Bowl that same year.

He joined the Phoenix Suns ownership group in 2020 and now serves as an ESPN analyst and host of a SiriusXM podcast since 2021, showcasing his diverse interests and expertise. In 2024, he was named honorary co-chair of the U.S. Amateur Championship and is slated for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame, further cementing his legendary status across the sport.
