Laura Davies

Dame Laura Davies has established herself as one of the most accomplished female golfers of modern times, with a career spanning decades that includes major championship victories and global recognition. After turning professional in 1985, Dame Laura Davies immediately made her mark, securing both Rookie of the Year and Order of Merit titles on the WPGET, now known as the Ladies European Tour. The following year, Davies captured four titles, including the prestigious Women’s British Open. In 1987, she achieved a significant breakthrough in the United States by winning the U.S.

Continuing her engagement in the golf world, Davies was appointed the first honorary president of the Parliamentary Golf Group in 2016. Demonstrating her enduring competitive prowess, she added two more major senior titles to her resume in 2018, winning both the U.S. Senior Women’s Open and the Senior LPGA Championship.
