Lex Horwitz, an accomplished LGBTQ+ educator, consultant, and public speaker, established Lex Horwitz Consulting LLC to create inclusive environments through education and advocacy. Their mission, ‘Education for all,’ drives efforts to uplift and support the LGBTQIA+ community through tailored services and resources. Horwitz’s commitment to advocacy began during their time as a DIII athlete at Bowdoin College, where early experiences with gendered language prompted personal research into options for trans athletes. This led to a successful collaboration with the institution’s Athletic Director, resulting in Horwitz joining the men’s squash team in alignment with their gender identity.

Their work is characterized by a dedication to creating policies and practices that not only embrace but also celebrate diverse identities, ensuring every individual can thrive. Through ongoing partnerships and speaking engagements, Horwitz remains at the forefront of driving meaningful and lasting systemic change.
