Hailing from Birmingham, 27-year-old tennis player Lloyd Glasspool has extended his talents to both the worlds of singles and doubles. Holding 12 ITF Futures titles, 8 in doubles and 5 in singles, Glasspool is no stranger so success. With career highs of No.185 as a doubles player and No.282 as a singles, Glasspool has competed in ITF, ATP and Grand Slam tournaments. During his time as a student at the University of Texas, Glasspool won the 2015 NCAA doubles championship with partner Soren Hess-Oleson. In 2016, he made his Wimbledon doubles debut, where he entered with a wildcard alongside fellow Brit Dan Evans. From 2017 onwards, he collected a number of ITF Futures and M25 doubles titles. In 2017 he won the Memphis F12 title as well as reaching several other tournament semi-finals and finals. 2019 was a sensational year Glasspool. He won three ITF M25 doubles titles. These included titles in Norman, Iowa City and Heraklion. The year also saw him reach several Challenger tour quarter and semi-finals, as well as the quarter-finals at an ATP 250 tournament in Eastbourne. In 2020 Glasspool continued these successes with even greater speed. He reached 6 Challenger tour doubles finals, the most recent being in Maia, Portugal. He also won the ITF M25 doubles tournament in Santa Fe.
