Locky Brownlie is a dancer and choreographer known for his work with major pop artists and Broadway productions, bringing extensive industry experience to various entertainment projects. After performing as an ensemble member in the acclaimed Broadway musical ‘Wicked’ for 13 months at Melbourne’s Regent Theatre, Locky Brownlie swiftly established himself as a dynamic presence in the professional dance world. His foundational training included a Certificate IV in Performing Arts at Brent Street Studios, which directly preceded his pivotal role in ‘Wicked.’ In 2009, Brownlie made a strategic move to Los Angeles, a decision that propelled his career onto the international entertainment stage and broadened his scope of high-profile productions. Brownlie’s career expanded significantly following his move, leading to extensive global tours with major pop artists.
Beyond stadium and arena tours, Brownlie returned to Broadway to perform in a recast of ‘Wicked’ in New York. His extensive television credits include appearances on popular series such as ‘Glee,’ ‘Lucifer,’ ‘True Blood,’ ‘Hit The Floor,’ and ‘AJ & The Queen.’ He has also featured on major reality and competition shows including ‘Rupaul’s Drag Race,’ ‘Americas Got Talent,’ and a promotional campaign for ‘Magic Mike Live’ on ‘Britain’s Got Talent.’ Leveraging his performance expertise, Brownlie is a co-owner of The Tasmanian Dance Expo with Renee Ritchie.
