Handsome entertainer Lockhart “Locky” Brownlie is a dancer, choreographer and model, who is best known for his work as a dancer with Katy Perry and Taylor Swift, and for appearing in the Australian stage version as well as the Broadway production of Wicked. He founded The Tasmanian Dance Expo with fellow dance professional Renee Ritchie in order to help encourage and mentor Australia’s next generation of dancers.
Born and raised in Tasmania, Australia, Brownlie was a keen dancer from a young age. He moved to Sydney in 2007 to study performing arts at Brent Street Studios. After graduating, he worked with some of Australia’s leading choreographers, and his professional career began when he was selected to be a member of the ensemble in the hit musical Wicked in Melbourne. In 2009 he moved to Los Angeles and started working with Katy Perry, joining her California Dreams World Tour, and The Prismatic World Tour, as well as for The Super Bowl Half-time Show in 2015, Presidential campaign shows, two feature films, and multiple award shows around the world. In 2013 he joined Taylor Swift on her American RED tour. He has also worked with Britney Spears on her Domination Vegas residency show, with Erika Jayne (RHOBH), and joined Jennifer Lopez on her It’s My Party Tour in 2019. He was recast in Wicked for its Broadway run in New York, and has also been featured on multiple TV shows, such as Glee, True Blood, Hit The Floor, AJ & The Queen, RuPaul’s Drag Race, and Magic Mike Live Promo (Britain’s Got Talent).
Brownlie regularly connects with his legions of followers and fans through TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter, posting pictures and videos about his life around dance and entertainment.
