Silky Spaniard – Luis Garcia, was a professional footballer who played as a skilful winger for a number of top European clubs. Garcia spent his glory years at Liverpool FC, where he won the 2005 Champions League and 2006 FA Cup. Later on in his career, Garcia also added the UEFA Intertoto Cup to his collection of trophies with Atletico Madrid and the Indian Super League with Atletico Kolkata. In terms of individual accolades, Garcia was in the UEFA Team of the Year in 2005, mainly down to his show stopping performances in the Champions League in the run up to Liverpool’s famous final win.
