Mai Omar

Mai Omar, born on February 7, 1988, is an Egyptian actress who initially pursued a career in advertising before transitioning to acting. She graduated from the Mass Communication department at the American University in Cairo. Her early career involved working as a producer in the advertising field, which provided her with foundational experience in media production. This background would later inform her work in the entertainment industry.

Omar began her acting career with a notable role as “Wala’a” in the 2013 television series “Hekayet Hayah.” This debut marked her entry into the Egyptian acting scene. Following this, she took on a role in the TV series “Words on Paper” in 2014, portraying the character Layla. In 2016, she was part of the cast for “The Legend.” Her career progression continued with multiple projects in 2017, including the films “Goodnight,” where she played Saja/Nada, and “Last Rooster in Egypt,” in which she depicted Rania Mahmoud. The same year, she appeared in the TV series “The Ghosts of Adly Allam” as Malak and “Keep Your Wife Happy.” These roles contributed to her rising profile in the regional entertainment landscape.

Over the years, Omar has actively participated in various television and film productions, accumulating a significant number of credits as an actress.
