Malcolm Marx

Malcolm Marx is a highly acclaimed South African professional rugby union player, widely recognized as one of the top hookers globally. His career highlights include multiple Rugby World Cup victories and numerous individual accolades. After a significant positional change to hooker, Malcolm Marx earned selection for the SA Schools side in 2012, competing against formidable teams such as France and England. He continued to develop his skills with UJ in the 2013 Varsity Cup, making eight appearances and scoring four tries, which led to him being named Golden Lions U19 Forward of the Year in the same year.

Marx played a pivotal role in South Africa’s Rugby World Cup victory in 2019, having been named in the squad that year.
