Marcus Luttrell

Marcus Luttrell, a decorated Navy SEAL and author, shares his experiences and insights on resilience, leadership, and the challenges faced by military personnel and their families. After graduating from Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S) Class 228 in April 2000, Marcus Luttrell embarked on a distinguished career in the U.S. Navy. Enlisting in March 1999, he completed specialized training, including the Special Operations Combat Medic (SOCM) course in 2001.

He continued his literary contributions with the co-authorship of ‘Service: A Navy SEAL at War,’ released in 2012. Luttrell’s impactful story gained further widespread recognition with the release of the critically acclaimed film ‘Lone Survivor’ in 2013, based on his memoir, bringing his experiences to a global audience. A sought-after voice on resilience and military service, he delivered a compelling speech at the Republican National Convention in 2016, reaching a national viewership. Luttrell has also expanded his public presence through appearances in popular television series such as A&E’s ‘Duck Dynasty’ and Discovery’s ‘Overhaulin’ and made a brief cameo in the film ‘Range 15,’ continually sharing his message of perseverance and patriotism.
