Markéta Davidová is a Czech professional biathlete who competed in the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics set to return for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. The 23-year-old racer made her biathlon debut at the 2015 Minsk Junior World Championships coming in 10th during the relay event and later making her World Cup debut in 2016 participating in the sprint event. In 2018, Davidová made her third appearance at the Junior World Championships in Otepää, Estonia taking home gold in the pursuit event ahead of Polish biathlete Kamila Żuk by 28.1 seconds and silver in the sprint event behind Żuk.
She later joined SKP Kornspitz Jablonec – a Czech senior biathlon representation club with Ludmila Horká, Natálie Jurčová, Ondřej Moravec, and other prominent biathletes. During 2018-2019 season Biathlon World Cup, Davidová made frequent top 3 placements across several stages events eventually winning bronze in the individual event behind Lisa Vittozzi and Paulína Fialková. In the recent 2019-2020 season, she has improved her placement rankings significantly in just her second year out of the junior scene.
In her more recent matches, she helped her club win bronze in the mixed 4 × 6 km W+M relay event at the 2020 Biathlon World Championships in Rasen-Antholz, Italy trailing behind Italy and Norway by 46.4 seconds. Davidová earned an individual victory at the 7 2019 World Cup .5 km sprint event.
