Max Parker

Maxwell Nathaniel J. Brown, known professionally as Max Parker, was born on February 7, 1992, in Bolton, Greater Manchester, England. He developed an early interest in performing, which led him to train at the prestigious Arts Educational Schools in London, graduating in 2013. Early in his career, he established himself in musical theatre, making his stage debut in ‘Barnum’ in 2013. He continued to gain experience in productions like ‘I Can’t Sing! The X Factor Musical’ and ‘Matilda the Musical,’ where he performed until 2015. In 2016, Parker took on roles in ‘Kiss Me, Kate’ and famously as the Tin Man in ‘The Wizard of Oz,’ for which he received a nomination for Best Supporting Performance at the UK Theatre Awards. Also in 2016, he made his film debut as Christopher Morgan in ‘My B.F.F.’

Parker transitioned into television with a recurring role as Alasdair “Base” Newman in the BBC One medical drama ‘Casualty’ from 2018 to 2019, departing when his character died. In 2019, he joined the ITV soap opera ‘Emmerdale’ as Luke Posner, a significant role he held for 73 episodes until his departure in 2021. During this period, he also appeared in ‘World on Fire’ (2019) and ‘Cobra’ (2020), and the film ‘Love Sarah’ (2020). His career continued to expand with international projects, including playing Mikhail Tanner in the Peacock fantasy horror series ‘Vampire Academy’ and portraying King Henry in the Netflix series ‘Blood, Sex & Royalty’, both in 2022.

Looking ahead, Parker is set to appear as Will in the 2024 film ‘Strictly Confidential’. He has also been cast in upcoming television projects, including ‘Boots’ (formerly ‘The Corps’) for Netflix, where he plays Sergeant Robert “Bobby” Sullivan across 8 episodes, and a guest role as Manny in a 2025 episode of ‘Doctor Who’. These roles highlight his continued presence across various platforms and genres.
