Emmy-award-winning journalist Myrka Dellanos launched her prominent television career in 1992 as a co-host for Univision’s acclaimed news program, ‘Primer Impacto.’ She held this influential role for over a decade until 2004, establishing herself as a recognized and leading figure in Spanish-language media. During her tenure, Dellanos earned three ACE Awards and two Emmy Awards for Reporting and Writing, cementing her reputation for journalistic excellence. Her significant impact was further recognized when she was named ‘Hispanic of the Year’ by the Direct Marketing Association of America in 2001, ‘Person of the Year’ by the Organization of Ibero-American Journalists in 2003, and ‘Star of the Year’ by ‘People en Español’ readers in 2004. She was also honored as an Outstanding Young Woman of America.
