Nguyễn Trần Khánh Vân is a Vietnamese model, actress, and businesswoman who achieved widespread recognition as Miss Universe Vietnam 2019 and represented Vietnam at Miss Universe 2020.
After her Miss Universe Vietnam 2019 win, Khánh Vân accepted an invitation to become an ambassador for One Body Village. This organization focuses on supporting, rescuing, and helping girls who have been exploited, sexually abused, or are at risk. Vân committed to continuous involvement in this mission even after her reign. She has participated in rescue tours and educational initiatives aimed at empowering children and women.
In 2022, Khánh Vân became an ambassador for the 'Tôi đồng ý' campaign, advocating for same-sex marriage and supporting the LGBTQ+ community in Vietnam.
Bhutan Airlines welcomed Nguyễn Trần Khánh Vân, Miss Universe Vietnam 2019, as an honored guest and acknowledged her as a Top 21 semi-finalist at Miss Universe 2020.
Nguyễn Trần Khánh Vân was born on February 25, 1995, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. She completed her education at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Theater Stage and Cinema. Her career began in pageantry in 2013, when she won Miss Teen Áo dài Vietnam, a national beauty pageant celebrating the traditional Vietnamese garment. The following year, Vân achieved the title of 2nd Runner-Up at Miss Star 2014 and participated in Miss Vietnam 2014, making it to the Top 40 finalists. Her journey in beauty pageants continued, leading her to successfully compete in Miss Universe Vietnam 2015, where she placed in the Top 10.
In 2018, Vân further developed her modeling career by participating in Vietnam Supermodel, where she earned the Silver award. A significant turning point in her career came in 2019 when she won Miss Universe Vietnam. This victory led her to represent Vietnam on the international stage at Miss Universe 2020, where she secured a spot in the Top 21 and also received the highest number of fan votes in the competition’s history. Beyond her achievements in pageantry and modeling, Vân has pursued an acting career, appearing in various television series and web dramas. Her acting credits include ‘Trại cá sấu’ (2015), ‘Thiếu gia nhà nghèo’ (2016), ‘Sài Gòn không lỗi hẹn’ (2017), ‘Những sắc màu hôn nhân’ (2017), ‘Yêu là phải liều’ (2017), ‘Sóng xô lẽ phải’ (2018), ‘Một chàng ba nàng’ (2019), ‘Ngày đông có nắng’ (2020), and ‘Phượng khấu’ (2021). She also starred as nurse Hạ in the popular web drama ‘Bệnh viện thần ái’ (2019).
In addition to her professional endeavors, Nguyễn Trần Khánh Vân is actively involved in philanthropic work. She serves as an ambassador for One Body Village (OBV), an organization dedicated to supporting and rescuing girls who are exploited or at risk of sexual abuse. Her commitment to this cause stems from her own experiences, motivating her to use her platform to advocate for children and women’s protection. In 2022, she became an ambassador for the ‘Tôi đồng ý’ (I Agree) campaign, supporting same-sex marriage and the LGBT community in Vietnam.
