Nicole Frances Parker

Nicole Frances Parker was born on February 21, 1978, in Irvine, California, USA. She has established a career in acting, comedy, and production. Parker began her career in improvisational comedy, performing with The Groundlings Theatre in Hollywood, California. Her work in theatre includes a Jeff Award nomination in 2004 for her performance in “The People vs. Friar Laurence, The Man Who Killed Romeo and Juliet.” This early stage experience provided a foundation for her later success in both comedy and musical theater.

Parker gained substantial recognition for her role on Fox’s sketch comedy show “Mad TV.” She joined the cast in 2003 during Season 9 as a featured performer and was promoted to a full cast member in Season 10. During her six years on the show, which concluded in 2009, she was also a contributing writer. Her work on “Mad TV” involved performing various characters and impersonating celebrities such as Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson, Julie Andrews, and Amy Winehouse. Beyond sketch comedy, Parker transitioned to Broadway, notably taking on the role of Elphaba in “Wicked” in 2009. She later reprised this role for the show’s first North American tour in 2012.
