Nicole Franzel

Nicole Ann Franzel-Arroyo was born on June 30, 1992, in Ubly, Michigan. She pursued a career as an ER nurse, graduating in 2014. Her television career began with her debut on *Big Brother 16* in 2014, where she was noted for her competitive spirit and earned the Head of Household title three times. Despite her early eviction on Day 56, she returned to the house after winning the Battle Back competition, demonstrating her determination. Her first season concluded with her as the fifth member of the jury, voting for Derrick Levasseur to win. She later dated fellow houseguest Hayden Voss from September 2014 to early 2016.

Franzel returned to *Big Brother* for its 18th season, where she adopted a less aggressive strategy to navigate the game. This approach proved successful, as she won Head of Household twice and Power of Veto twice. She ultimately won *Big Brother 18* in a 5–4 vote against Paul Abrahamian, becoming the first female houseguest to defeat a male in the final two. Following this, she competed with Victor Arroyo, whom she later married, on *The Amazing Race 31*, finishing fourth. In 2020, she participated in *Big Brother 22: All-Stars*, where she secured a Head of Household and Power of Veto win, ultimately placing third. She holds the record for the most days spent in the *Big Brother* house, with a total of 255 days.

Her most recent television appearance was on the holiday spin-off, *Big Brother Reindeer Games*, which she won in 2023. Beyond her competitive endeavors, Nicole Franzel is married to Victor Arroyo, a fellow *Big Brother 18* houseguest, with whom she has one child, Victor “Arrow” Arroyo IV, born in July 2021. Their wedding took place on March 16, 2021, after three postponements due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
