Corey Murray – better known as One Way Corey – is famous as the leader of Philadelphia’s popular youth bike scene. A member of the internet-famous, Philadelphia-based BMX crew One Way, Corey’s stunts and tricks have helped him rack up more than 321k followers on Instagram and earned the rising star and influencer brand deals with the likes of Fearless Goat Apparel. His most famous tricks include “The Dragon”, where he daringly glides his hands along the pavement whilst performing a wheelie on his BMX. Exciting, daring and dangerous, Corey also has his fair share of celebrity fans including American rapper Meek Mill.
Corey is now so famous that Collective Bikes have made him his own signature seat which he helped design and bike pedals that sold out in record time. He’s also caused his fair share of controversy, when 200 people rode onto a freeway in Philadelphia to celebrate his 17th birthday which led to Corey’s arrest in connection with ride. But there’s no doubt that Corey has been a big part of getting thousands of kids to get out and ride their bikes more rather than stay stuck inside on games consoles or watching TV, and before the controversial ride he told the bike community that everyone who rides is part of a big family for him and that he’s always got time to talk to youngsters performing wheelies on the street or asking for advice on learning new tricks.
