Orlando Soria is an interior designer, artist, and writer based in Los Angeles, California. He pursued higher education at Cornell University’s College of Architecture, Art and Planning, and later at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Design. His career in television began with an on-screen debut on HGTV as Emily Henderson’s assistant in “Secrets from a Stylist” (2010).
Soria further established his presence on HGTV with his own show, “Unspouse My House,” which premiered in 2019 and ran for two seasons. The show was later rebranded as “Build Me Up,” where he continues to work with homeowners, integrating design with humor and support to create spaces that facilitate new life chapters. In addition to his television work, Soria authored his first book, “Get It Together!,” which was released in Spring 2018.
Throughout his career, Orlando Soria has engaged in various creative roles beyond television. He has contributed to the art department as a property master for “Portrait of Leonore” (2011) and as an assistant art director for “The Perfect Family” (2011). He also served as a production designer for “You’re Killing Me” (2015) and a set decorator for “Spork” (2010), demonstrating a comprehensive involvement in visual and environmental design across different media.
