Paul Washington Jr is a professional basketball player for Louisville, Kentucky. Washington was inspired by his parents, who were both professional basketball players in their youth – with Washington now wearing the number 25 to honour his dad, as his dad playing the same number in college. Washington has played for the Charlotte Hornets since 2019, played for the NCAA All-American team and has played NBA all-rookie second team.

Washington came to this success by playing for McDonald’s All-American all-star basketball team that consists of the top basketball high school graduates. Most recently, Washington was named 2019–20 NBA All-Rookie Second Team by the NBA, an outstanding achievement for only a 22 year old. Washington is also interested in fashion, as well as animals – owning his own dog Zeus who his 220 thousand followers are always desperate to see. Washington is also dating Brittany Renner, an author and social media personality who has nearly 5 million followers on Instagram. Brittany and Washington are often seen posting cute pictures of matching outfits or social gatherings, with their most recent post garnering over 186 thousand likes and referencing the classic 80’s movie Pretty Woman. Brittany is currently promoting her autobiography – Judge This Cover – exploring the policing of women’s bodies that occurs on social media.
