Peder Fredricson

Peder Fredricson is an Olympic champion equestrian, widely recognized for his talent in show jumping and his strong partnerships with his horses. After becoming the Junior European Champion in Eventing in 1989, Peder Fredricson debuted at the 1992 Barcelona Summer Olympics in the discipline, laying the foundation for an illustrious career in equestrian sports. Fredricson subsequently transitioned to show jumping before the 2004 Athens Summer Olympics, a pivotal move supported by a sponsorship from clothing company H&M, signaling his rising prominence in the arena. His expertise quickly translated to success, earning him a Silver Medal in Team Jumping at the 2004 Summer Olympics and establishing him as a top contender in international competition.

Fredricson continued his trajectory of high-level performance, securing an Individual Jumping Silver Medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics. His consistent excellence garnered widespread recognition, leading to his first Jerring Award win in 2016. The following year, 2017, proved exceptionally strong, as he claimed both an Individual Jumping Gold Medal and a Team Jumping Silver Medal at the European Championships. This remarkable performance resulted in him earning his second consecutive Jerring Award.

His most recent achievements include an Individual Jumping Bronze Medal at the 2024 FEI World Cup Finals.
