Peter Alexander is an accomplished American journalist and television presenter, currently serving as the NBC News White House correspondent since December 2012. His extensive reporting spans across all NBC News platforms, including NBC Nightly News, Today, and Meet the Press. Alexander’s career at NBC began in 2004, where he quickly established himself as a prominent figure in political journalism, notably leading the network’s coverage of the 2012 Republican presidential race, which earned him recognition as one of POLITICO’s “10 Breakout Reporters of 2012.”
Throughout his career, Alexander has reported on significant international events, including Iraq’s historic elections in 2005, the death of Osama bin Laden, and the devastating tsunami in Indonesia.
