Peter Luis Zimmerman describes himself as an actor, musician, and visionary. He is best known to television aficionados as Eduardo, one of the gate guards in the massively successful, multi-award-winning zombie horror series The Walking Dead. In parallel with his acting career, Zimmerman has always made music. His latest album, ARTiFAXTS, inspired by hip-hop and alternative rock, was released during summer 2020.
Zimmerman made his screen debut back in 2009 in an episode of Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns, a sitcom spin-off the film of the same name that aired on TBS. Several one-off appearances followed in a variety of shows, including the pilot of Necessary Roughness, VH1 comedy-drama Single Ladies, and critically-acclaimed drama action-drama Banshee. He finally got the break he deserved in 2016, when he joined the cast of AMC’s The Walking Dead in time for its sixth season. He was cast as Eduardo, one of the gate guards of Hilltop. He became an instant hit with fans, with one fan podcast naming him one of their “Hilltop Hotties”. Zimmerman went on to appear in 16 episodes of the show over three seasons, bringing his talents to a huge audience.
Recent TV guest appearances have included parts in Sistas and Bigger. In 2020, Zimmerman was cast in Jungle Cruise, a major feature film based on a Disney theme park ride and starring the likes of Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt. Being a part of such prestigious productions is only going to help propel the acting and musical career of this highly talented individual.
