Peter Luis Zimmerman is a Miami-born, Atlanta-raised actor and recording artist. He began his acting career with an appearance in “Meet the Browns” in 2009, playing the character Pablo, which marked his initial entry into the television industry. In the same year, he also contributed as a composer for the production “Het-Q: The Making of Movie.” His early career included roles in television series such as “Necessary Roughness” in 2011, where he played Ricky Lambert, and “Single Ladies” in 2012, portraying Mario. These roles established his presence in television, demonstrating his ability to work across different genres and production types.
His career advanced significantly in 2016 when he joined the cast of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” as Eduardo, a recurring role that spanned 16 episodes until 2018. This role brought him wider recognition within the entertainment industry. Following his work on “The Walking Dead,” Zimmerman appeared in various projects, including the film “Big Bad” in 2016 and television series such as “Bigger” in 2019, where he played both Jason and a Co-Worker. In 2020, he appeared in “Sistas” as Bartender Fred and in the TV movie “Cooking Up Christmas” as Carlos. His filmography also includes a role as a Puka Michuna Warrior in the 2021 film “Jungle Cruise” and a recent appearance in the TV series “True Lies” in 2023 as Commando #1. In 2022, he co-directed and composed music for the short film “User,” additionally playing the character Ty. Zimmerman is also a recording artist, releasing music on platforms like Spotify, and has founded PLZ Pictures, expanding his involvement in film production. He has collaborated with his mother, Rosa Santiago Zimmerman, on the design series “Rosa’s REAL Reelz.”
