Pham Thi Huong, born on September 4, 1991, in Haiphong, Vietnam, established a diverse early career that laid the groundwork for her national and international recognition. In 2010, she relocated to Hanoi to pursue her studies, eventually graduating with a degree in International Administration and Marketing from Vietnam University of Commerce. Her professional journey began with modeling, participating in season one of “Vietnam’s Next Top Model” where she reached eighth place. Demonstrating a commitment to education, Pham Huong also became a lecturer at Saigon College of Arts, Culture and Tourism in Ho Chi Minh City at the age of 23, teaching while continuing to build her presence in the fashion and pageant industries.
Her modeling career included winning F-Idol 2011 and placing in the top five of Ngoi Sao Nguoi Mau Ngay Mai 2012. A significant turning point occurred in 2014 when she was named the first runner-up at Miss World Sport, a beauty pageant held in conjunction with the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. The same year, she made it into the top 10 of Miss Vietnam 2014. These achievements culminated in her winning the Miss Universe Vietnam 2015 title on October 3, 2015, in Nha Trang City. This victory provided her with the opportunity to represent Vietnam on a global stage at Miss Universe 2015 in Las Vegas, USA.
Following her Miss Universe appearance, where she was a popular contestant despite not placing in the top 15, Pham Huong was recognized as “Hoa Hau Quoc Dan” (Vietnam National Miss) for her efforts in promoting Vietnam internationally. Her career expanded with roles as a coach on “The Face Vietnam” (2016) and “The Look Vietnam” (2017), showcasing her expertise in the fashion industry. In 2017, she also served as a consultant for “Toi La Hoa Hau Hoan Vu Viet Nam.” In 2018, she further diversified her career by launching her first fashion collection, themed “Girl Boss.” She is also a WildAid ambassador for rhinos, advocating for wildlife conservation.
