John van der Put, known as Piff the Magic Dragon, has evolved from award-winning British magician to a Las Vegas headliner and American television personality, utilizing a unique blend of magic and deadpan comedy. After creating the iconic Piff the Magic Dragon persona in 2008, John van der Put swiftly gained recognition, winning the British Ring Close-up Magician of the Year award in the same year. His unique blend of deadpan comedy and magic, often featuring his Chihuahua assistant, Mr. Piffles, debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2009.

In 2012, he toured as a support act for Mumford & Sons’ ‘Tour of Two Halves,’ further broadening his audience. His ascent in the US market began with joining The Cosmopolitan’s Rose. Rabbit. Lie club in 2014, leading to his breakthrough appearance on ‘America’s Got Talent’ Season 10 in 2015, where he captivated millions and reached the Top 10.
