Raja Gemini, born Sutan Ibrahim Karim Amrullah, is a distinguished American drag queen and make-up artist, recognized for her critical success and unique style, influencing both entertainment and fashion industries. After serving as a make-up artist on ‘America’s Next Top Model’ for cycles four through twelve from 2005 to 2009, collaborating with clients such as Tyra Banks, Dita von Teese, and RuPaul, Raja Gemini established herself as a critically acclaimed drag queen and performer. Her professional drag career began in the early 1990s as the club kid Crayola, with her first performance in 1991. Having studied art direction and illustration at California State University, Fullerton, Raja transitioned her artistic vision into female impersonation.

She guest-starred in ‘The Simpsons’ episode ‘Werking Mom’ (2018). Her cultural impact was highlighted in 2019 when she graced the cover of ‘New York Magazine.’ In 2022, Raja made a triumphant return, winning ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars’ season seven—an all-winners season—securing the title of ‘Queen Of She Done Already Done Had Herses’ and a $50,000 prize, cementing her enduring legacy in entertainment. Maintaining her strong connection to the fashion and art worlds, Raja Gemini recently exhibited her work at the NGV Triennial (2023-2024), where she infused Balinese heritage into contemporary drag aesthetics, demonstrating continued artistic evolution and influence.
