Richard Sandling

Richard Sandling solidified his reputation as a versatile British comedian, actor, writer, and director after winning the prestigious ‘So You Think You’re Funny’ award in 2007. This early recognition followed extensive work in the stand-up circuit, where he ran and MCed the Squat Betty Alternative Comedy Club in Southend. Sandling frequently performed at the renowned Edinburgh Festival Fringe, both as a solo act and as half of the acclaimed sketch double act ‘Kiosk of Champions’ alongside Stuart Goldsmith. His international profile grew significantly, including an appearance at the Montreal ‘Just For Laughs Britcom Show’ in 2008 and achieving the notable distinction of being the sole British nominee at Comedy Central’s ‘The Comedy Awards’ in New York in 2012.
