Rory Gibbs has transitioned from an Olympic gold medalist and two-time World Champion rower to a motivational speaker and online coaching entrepreneur. He now shares his expertise in mentoring aspiring rowers and guiding individuals toward their fitness goals. After securing a gold medal in the Men’s eight at the Paris 2024 Olympic Rowing Regatta, Rory Gibbs completed an illustrious career that also included two consecutive World Rowing Championship titles in the men’s eight in 2022 and 2023. Gibbs’ early career was marked by significant success at the Henley Royal Regatta, where he won the Temple Challenge Cup in 2016, followed by victories in the Ladies’ Challenge Plate in 2017 and 2018, and the Stewards’ Challenge Cup in 2019.
His consistent performance at the highest level established him as a cornerstone of the GB team. Building on these achievements, Rory Gibbs showcased remarkable consistency and winning form through 2022 and 2023. He secured gold medals at the European Rowing Championships in 2022 and 2023, complementing his World Rowing Championship titles. His run of success also included multiple World Rowing Cup victories, with golds at World Rowing Cup III in 2022, World Rowing Cup II in 2023, and a silver at World Rowing Cup III in 2023.
He has also launched ‘Rowkouts,’ a dedicated rowing-focused fitness channel on YouTube, expanding his reach in the fitness community.
