Ruby Rose Turner

Ruby Rose Turner was born on October 16, 2005, in Los Angeles, California. She began her professional career at the age of seven on Univision’s long-running television show “Sabado Gigante.” Prior to her acting debut, she had already established herself as a talented dancer, competing for four years and earning multiple National Champion Award titles. Her early career also included performances on national and international television commercials, demonstrating her versatility from a young age.

Turner gained widespread recognition for her starring role as Cami Wrather in the Disney Channel’s family sitcom “Coop & Cami Ask the World.” In this series, she portrayed a resourceful middle school student who, alongside her brother, crowdsourced decisions online. Her work on this show, which ran from 2018 to 2020 for two seasons and 49 episodes, solidified her presence in youth entertainment. More recently, she appeared in the Disney+ feature “Descendants: The Rise of Red” (2024), where she played the character Bridget. Her song from the soundtrack, “Life is Sweeter,” achieved significant viral success, accumulating over 24 million views on YouTube.

Beyond her acting roles, Turner is also set to star in Patriot Picture’s feature film “Almost Popular” as Susie Quinn. Her career milestones include guest appearances on ABC’s “Black-ish” and a recurring role as Joey Gladstone’s oldest daughter Phyllis on “Fuller House” from 2016 to 2017. She has also showcased her dance abilities on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,” performing in a live rendition of “It’s a Hard Knock Life” and as young Julianne Hough in the “Move-Beyond” tribute.
