Ryann O’Toole was born on February 11, 1987, in Agoura Hills, California. She graduated from San Clemente High School in 2005. O’Toole then attended UCLA, where she played college golf, recording 12 top-10 finishes during her collegiate career and earning a bachelor’s degree in sociology in 2009.
O’Toole turned professional in 2009, joining the Futures Tour. Her early career included two wins on the Futures Tour in 2010. She gained conditional status on the LPGA Tour for 2011 and achieved her first LPGA Tour victory at the Trust Golf Women’s Scottish Open on August 15, 2021, on her 228th start. This win, a three-stroke victory with a score of 271 (–17), marked a significant milestone in her career. She has also accumulated one career win, $4.3 million in official career earnings, 20 career Top 10s, and 70 career Top 25 finishes on the LPGA Tour.
Throughout her career, Ryann O’Toole has participated in major championships, with notable results including a T13 at the Chevron Championship (2018, 2022), a T18 at the Women’s PGA Championship (2018), and a 9th place finish at the U.S. Women’s Open (2011). She was also a cast member on The Big Break Sandals Resort in 2010. O’Toole has represented the United States in the Solheim Cup in 2011.
