Samuel Hall

Samuel Hall secured his first major national title with a gold medal at the British Cadet Championships (16-18) in the U46 category in 2009, followed by a silver medal in the U55 category in 2010. These early successes set the stage for a distinguished junior career, where he consistently medaled in European Cups. Hall earned gold at the European Cup U21 in Kaunas twice, in both 2013 and 2014, competing in the U60 kg division. He further demonstrated his international potential with another gold medal at the European Cup U21 in La Coruna in 2015.

A significant highlight of his junior career was achieving a silver medal at the European Junior Championships in Oberwart in 2015, also in the U60 kg category. Transitioning to senior competitions, Hall established himself as a dominant force domestically, becoming a four-time British Senior Champion. He secured his first senior national title in the U66 kg category in 2016, followed by U60 kg golds in 2017, 2019, and 2021, all at the British Championships in Sheffield. His international senior career began to flourish, marked by a gold medal at the prestigious 2021 Judo Grand Prix Zagreb in the -60 kg category.

This was quickly followed by a bronze medal at the 2021 Judo Grand Slam Abu Dhabi, solidifying his presence on the global circuit. In 2022, Samuel Hall earned a silver medal representing England at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, competing in the highly competitive -60 kg division. That same year, he added an Oceania Open Perth U60 kg bronze medal to his growing collection. His momentum continued into 2023 with remarkable results on the European circuit.

His sustained success positions him as a prominent figure in British and international judo.
